Antoni was invited to design a banner outside of the Museum of Modern Art. Instead of designing a banner from scratch, the artist took an existing banner and unstitched by hand the "A" from the banner so that it had transformed from "MoMA" to "MoM." Through unmaking in order to make anew, Antoni asks whether we need to re-write in order to move forward.
